Early years musicianship skills from birth to 7 years

About Musicaliti

Musicaliti meets the developmental needs of families, children's centres, nurseries, day care centres and primary infants by providing solid musical foundations in exciting ways for children from birth to seven years. Incorporating the Early Years Foundation Stage is paramount within the available curricula, which focuses on a new, child-friendly theme each half term.  Supplementary material is available for children as well as manuals for teaching staff and a range of developmentally appropriate instrumental resources.

Musicaliti includes leading philosophies from a number of sources including Kodály (singing), Orff (instrumental work) and Dalcroze (movement), as well as the child development philosophies of Piaget (stage development), Montessori (child-led learning), Trainor (benefits of music), so that each developmentally-appropriate class builds on to the next.  This gives staff an opportunity to observe and acquire best practice, as well as providing every child the opportunity to personally create music every week - the most fun learning EVER!
