Position: Internal Nursery Music Specialists (National - UK)

Description: Presenting the Kindermusik nursery curricula using purchased or leased instruments, the music specialist will have exclusive access to Kindermusik's Teaching Pack Topics.  Topics may easily be divided by month or half term.  Suitable for children 2 to 4 years old, each half hour session is accompanied with an optional host cd that can be used during the session, and a training dvd with activity suggestions.  Sessions are to be held weekly and each child participating in the sessions is to receive a new Music Pack per topic (purchased by the parents or nursery) at £12 per Pack - this equates to just £3 per week per child over a 4 week period or £2 per week per child over a 6 week period.

Requirements: This position is for a member of staff already employed at a nursery as a music specialist.

  2. Successful applicants will be enthusiastic about music with a natural ability to relate to children and the desire to pass on a love for music with respect and understanding (live or telephone interview).
  3. The successful nursery or group will be in a position to purchase or lease sufficient percussion instruments as required to allow for one each per child per session, as well as incidental single instruments (contract signed by manager/owner).
  4. The successful nursery or group will be in a position to order Music Packs no later than one term in advance to allow for shipping and delivery at the fixed price of £12 per pack (contract signed by manager/owner).
